Well…this has been a year. 2020 was a year of unprecedent events and the year in cinema was no different. Just as other aspects of our society were forced to adapt on the fly, COVID-19 forced theaters to shutter, then re-open barely, and hastened the rise of the streaming era as some the big screen experiences we looked forward to came to our living rooms instead. We too had to adapt and our list of the best of the year was forced to be delayed until February as some key 2020 releases didn’t debut until the first month of 2021. Nevertheless, we remained patient and diligently waded through 61 releases to bring you the levelheaded, in-depth reviews you come to our site for. Without further ado, here is our list for the best films of the 2020 awards season.
